Open Historic Barn & Marsh Tour @ Cooke Tavern

THE HISTORIC BARN@COOKE TAVERN, 4158 Penns Valley Road, Spring Mills, PA

Come tour this 40' x 72' Amish built post and beam timber frame barn, built in 2005 on the original 1808 barn foundation of Cooke Tavern. This has recently been turned into an event, education and community space for up to 200 guests. The barn is situation on a 33-acre reclaimed marsh that is in a permanent conservation easement. There are stunning views and special places along the banks of world renowned Penns Creek.

The Nature Preserve - Muddy Paws Marsh - has over two miles of mowed walking trails to enjoy and re-connect with Nature. There is a large boardwalk that can be used for ceremonies or for cocktail/happy hours. There are many scenic views and places for photo opportunities.
