Weather permitting, she may be actually demonstrating on her wheel. Christine is from Boalsburg Christine Stangel is a local Bolasburg, PA potter who has found her love of playing in the mud creating wheel-thrown/hand built functional stoneware pottery. Christine Stangel is a Boalsburg resident working in her home studio and boy, do we all love her work! Her steadfast talent continues to evolve in styles, shapes, and sizes. It is always an exciting day when she brings new items to share with our customers for purchase. In Christine's own words: "To have become one of those potters who transforms this lump of clay into something amazing has now become a passion in my life.
