Brenda Horner, Watercolor Painter

Brenda will be on hand with a large representation of her work and will share information about her process. She is from State College.

Brenda's love of gardening provides inspiration for many of her watercolor subjects. Her work draws viewers’ attention to see the often overlooked quiet activity of nature. Early in life, she discovered a love of drawing and creative expression. A self-taught watercolor artist and calligrapher, her passion is to realistically depict her subject matter, which is most often one with feathers. Frequently combining watercolor with expressive quotations or meaningful messages in hand-lettered calligraphy, she strives to convey a special insight, mood or emotion.
